Therefore, the overall heat transfer coefficient between the stainless steel tube and the copper tube can be reduced by reducing the wall thickness. Under the same heat exchange area, the overall heat transfer coefficient is 2% to 8% higher than that of the copper tube.

2. Oxidation resistance. As we all know, stainless steel pipes have strong oxidation resistance, while copper pipes have poor oxidation resistance, which is easy to generate "patina", and as the use time increases, the oxide layer of copper pipes will become thicker and thicker, and the internal dirt will also be more and more, the heat transfer effect will become worse. However, the stainless steel tube will basically not oxidized. Even if it is oxidized, the speed of oxidation is slow. And the inner wall is relatively smooth, so that the thickness of the bottom layer of the boundary laminar flow is reduced, and it is not easy to form fouling on the inner wall. Therefore, the heat transfer effect of the copper tube will become worse and worse over time; while the heat transfer life of the stainless steel tube is not affected by time Impact.

3. Material hardness. The stainless steel tube has a strong hardness, which can improve the impact resistance and vibration resistance of the heat exchanger. The stainless steel heat exchanger tube uses a differential pressure for leak detection, and there is no pressure drop for 5 minutes.

In general, although the heat exchange effect of copper tubes is better than that of welded stainless steel tubes, the material of stainless steel pipe is special, and the wall thickness can be reduced to shorten the gap with the copper pipe, and the welded stainless steel is not easy to be oxidized, and no dirt will accumulate inside.
